How Often Should Brush Your Teeth?

You need brush your teeth once per day before you go to bed. Many people make the mistake of skipping bedtime brushing and brush in the morning. The problem with skipping bedtime brushing is that you will leave food on your teeth for the sugar bugs to eat while you sleep. When you are asleep, the bacteria grow wild because of diminsihed salvia flow. Saliva protects your teeth by killing harmful bacteria and diluting the acid produced by the bacteria. When you don’t brush at bedtime, you get bad morning breath from the bacteria having a party in your mouth overnight.
